‘Game of Thrones’ season 4, episode 10 (finale) spoilers: Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage in ‘The Children’
“Game of Thrones” season 4 has featured a variety of surprises, shocking deaths, and of course one of the biggest battles that we have ever seen on the show courtesy of tonight’s “The Watchers on the Wall.”
But where does the story go from here? Those of you who were upset about the singular focus of tonight’s episode can rejoice with the news that the finale, entitled “The Children,” will feature almost everyone who has been a part of the season so far who matters. This means more plot points for Dany, Bran Stark getting to do something again, and also the results of Tyrion’s “execution.”
We will have a promo for the episode soon, but for now we suggest taking a look at the official synopsis coming in courtesy of HBO:
“An unexpected arrival north of the Wall changes circumstances. Dany (Emilia Clarke) is forced to face harsh realities. Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) learns more of his destiny. Tyrion sees the truth of his situation.”
For those of you who are wanting some sort of update when it comes to the episode’s lengthy, HBO has listed it as running around 65 minutes or so. The finale always is a little longer than the rest of the episodes in a season, so adjust your DVRs accordingly. Also, be prepared for a great deal of waiting, given that you will be stuck again after this one until the spring of next year, where new episodes begin anew. Filming for the next season starts this summer throughout Europe.
