’24: Live Another Day’ episode 7 preview: The latest rescue mission

There are going to be many things that feel familiar to Jack Bauer on the new episode of “24: Live Another Day” airing on Monday. What’s one of them? Seeing Jack Bauer yet again in the position of trying to save someone from a surprise attack.

This time around, this attack is supposedly coming from Margot, with her own daughter as the target. Could she really do something this terrible? That is the focus of the sneak peek below, as he has to first convince Simone that this is the truth, and that she needs to come with him. In the end, she submits and ends up asking Jack for help, which may in the end be part of what ends up saving her.

This preview is definitely intense and jam-packed, since while this is all going on, we also get a quick glimpse at what Kate is also up to. She’s had a chance the past few weeks to show that she can be almost the female version of Jack Bauer, and is succeeding under most accounts. For Yvonne Strahovski, we have to imagine that she is having a lot of fun with this after being a part of another action-packed show in “Chuck” for five years.

While all of the content in this video is well and good, we do hope by the end of it that we do get some sort of actual answer about what Margot’s endgame will be here, and what sort of plan Jack has to move forward and defeat her.
