‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi’s Wedding’: Kandi Burruss, Todd, Momma Joyce talk it out
Tonight marks the second installment of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi’s Wedding,” and it serves as an opportunity for us to finally get some closure in regards to one subject: Whether or not Momma Joyce is ever going to put forth any sort of serious effort to get close with Todd Tucker.
Obviously, the fact that Todd and Kandi get married (photographic proof!) serves as some sort of evidence that there is some patching up, and the real point of this episode is more along the lines of seeing how difficult of a process it is. Based on the synopsis below, Todd especially is going to have his work cut out for him:
“Kandi’s wedding planning team recovers from Carmon’s emotional exit, but it’s not clear if Kandi and Todd can recover from Momma Joyce referring to Todd’s deceased father as a “pimp.” Kandi meets with her father and asks him to officiate her wedding, but gets more than she bargained for when he dredges up family issues from the past. In an emotional sit down with Momma Joyce, will Todd be able to stand up for himself?”
As for the preview below, it focuses a little more on some “shocking” revelations that Kandi’s dad has for her, which is yet another reminder that weddings somehow never end up becoming about you. Instead, it’s about a million different “interferences” (to use his word) who come in and cause problems. It is an interesting perspective, though, and one that we don’t often get a chance to see on the show. With that being said, we’ve heard what Kandi’s dad is saying here so many times across other platforms that it is not even funny.

Joyce is a miserable disgrace and I believe Kandi ‘ s dad. Joyce is the type to get a restraining order to keep the father away then lie about it. Horrible! Every dog has their day!!!

Omg. Momma Joyce needs to grow up and get some class. You can’t help who your daughter falls in love with. But you need to wish her well. Its her chose not yours. Shut up and leave it alone. You sound like the mother in law from hell.
