‘Switched at Birth’ season 3 spoilers: Bay and Emmett’s discovery

Switched at Birth -There has not been too much time as of late yet to discuss “Switched at Birth,” but there has also been a pretty significant reason for that: The show hasn’t bee on yet! Luckily, that is going to change a week from Monday, when the show starts to finish off its third season with weekly new episodes.

Regardless of whatever happens with Bay and Emmett in the midseason premiere, we can tell you now that there are going to be some significant challenges that come for them not that far after that. The June 23 episode is entitled “Snowball Down a Mountain,” which has a weird sort of a foreboding feeling to it given that we would suggest a snowball would pick up snow and eventually become an avalanche … at least in our very-active imagination. No good.

Anyway, the official synopsis for this episode shows that there will at least be plenty of screen time for Bay and Emmett together, as you can start to see what happens when they are backed into a corner:

“Bay and Emmett work together to combat Matthew’s blackmail threat and make an unexpected discovery. Daphne gets a big opportunity at the clinic but worries about how it affects her boyfriend Campbell (guest star RJ Mitte, ‘Breaking Bad’).

“Meanwhile, Kathryn enjoys the perks of being the author of a highly-anticipated book, until someone from her past threatens its publication.”

Does this sound exciting to anyone else? It is to us for many reasons, with one being that we are going to see more of Mitte in this part of the season, as well. It’s nice to see him still getting so much work after “Breaking Bad.”
