‘Longmire’ season 3, episode 2 preview: The Hank threat and more

Sometimes with promos that air following new episodes, you can get a pretty strong inclination of what is going to be coming up a little ways down the road. Whichever option you prefer most likely depends on whether you like something specific, or some extended tease that really gets you pumped up about what lies around the bend.

For “Longmire,” you got the extended trailer treatment after this past new episode, and thanks to that it is not entirely clear just how much of the footage in here is from the episode airing Monday. What we can say, though, is that there are certainly some very interesting things coming up, from a trial to some more dead bodies to some very significant threats.

One of the most significant questions worth asking right now is this: Just how badly is Hank’s friendship with Sheriff Longmire going to hurt him in prison? This is dangerous give that the more people know about it, the bigger risk that the truth gets out, and he has a very difficult time behind bars. This is one of the more interesting stories that we’ve seen the show tackle, and we say this as someone who already liked almost everything else that was presented in the premiere.

While we still would not argue those who say that this series really does not do anything that is that different or surprising when compared to most everything else that has aired on TV, it’s action-packed, fun to watch, and it does occasionally make you think.

What do you think we are going to be seeing the rest of the way on “Longmire”? Of course, we want to hear some of your thoughts below!
