MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 4, episode 9 preview: Matty’s ‘revenge’ revealed

On this past episode of “Awkward,” we saw Jenna make a big decision when it comes to her “friendship” with Matty these days: No longer does she want to be the one who constantly gets him out of bad situations. When he was arrested along with Jake, she told Eva to handle it herself with the help of his brother.

So is Matty going to find a rather-unique (and also rather gross) way to handle this? Well, the promo below certainly makes it look like it courtesy of a certain something belonging to Eva being found by Jenna and Tamara. This is going to cause some problems, no? We have to think so, and if nothing else it is certainly not going to make Eva into someone that fans like any more than they do already. (Fans basically hate her already.)

As for the rest of this episode, expect to see some more big stuff from Jenna as she really starts to prepare for her future, and figure out if she and Luke are going to end up attending the same school together. If they do, that ends up being a huge step forward in their relationship. So far he seems like a pretty perfect guy for her, but we’ll ultimately believe it when we see it when it comes to these two going the distance. Little “Matty seeds” have been planted around this show for a reason, and we have to think that they are somehow tied to him finding a way to get back into the mix here.
