‘The 100’ finale spoilers: First look at ‘We Are Grounders (Part II)

Out of all the shows out there right now, “The 100” is one that is easy to root for. When The CW debuted it late in the season, it was easy for most in the season to assume that it would be left for dead. “The Tomorrow People” underperformed in the timeslot, so why would another sci-fi show succeed when there were more people interested in going out and enjoying the weather?

Well, this series has defied the odds in the same way that many of these characters on the ground have so far, and viewers can take some solace in knowing that the show is coming back already. It is easy to breathe a sigh of relief, and to sit back and enjoy how the story will end … at least for now.

The CW released an official synopsis weeks ago, so there are obviously some more details you can assume about what lies ahead from the episode tonight:

“Clarke (Eliza Taylor) pleads with Bellamy (Bob Morley) to do the right thing as conflict on the ground comes to a head. Bellamy forces Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) to make a difficult decision. Raven (guest star Lindsey Morgan) and Jasper (Devon Bostick) work against time and Finn (Thomas McDonell) makes a bold move. Meanwhile, the situation on the Ark comes to a stunning conclusion.”

Will there be a giant cliffhanger? That is an interesting question to ask, since we could see the pendulum swinging both ways there. It would have been a bold move to end an untested series like that in its first season, but it could have also been a good way to push for a renewal.

Is there anything in particular that you want to see on the big conclusion to “The 100”? Sound off below.
