‘Doctor Who’ season 8 spoilers: Foxes teases role, performance on show
“Doctor Who” likes to think outside of the box (or the police box?) from time to time, so it was not particularly eye-popping thanks to this that the announcement came out that singer Foxes is going to be playing a part and singing on an upcoming season 8 episode.
The BBC released a statement recently on the news, and that is mostly all you are going to get when it comes to confirmation on who she will be playing. The only thing that she was able to add in a different BBC chat was that she’s not the villain for the episode she appears in. However, she did say that it is possible that the song she performs on the show gets released as a single, and we certainly don’t doubt it. This is one of the most-popular shows around the world, especially when it comes to diehard fans. This will be the most exposure that she has had since providing the featured vocals for “Clarity.”
In the end, Foxes claims that she is a “really big fan so it was great to be able to do that.” She doesn’t have any plans to stick with acting in the long-term, however, and wants to remain focused on a music career.
As for when you can see “Doctor Who” teleport back onto the air, the premiere date will be at some point in August. Therefore, you will not be forced to wait too much longer! Celebrate that! The episodes will also run consecutively every week without interruption.
