‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 spoilers: How will Alison react to shocking death?

For a town as big as Rosewood is, there is a surprisingly large number of murders there. No wonder that “Pretty Little Liars” keeps bringing in new people to play a part as the town law enforcement.

The good news with the premiere is that we are bringing back Alison DiLaurentis to the town after she was long presumed to be dead. The problem? Her mother is now dead, and nobody knows what in the world happened to her.

This is going to be a pretty significant struggle for Alison, who probably was hoping to get some sort of answers in terms of what her mom had to do in her original “death.” Speaking to E! News, executive producer Joseph Dougherty described how this is going to be a difficult situation for her for a number of different reasons:

“I think she’s going to be upset … She made up her mind and was going to go back and get some answers, and if this person is not there, she’s not going to get the answers she wanted to get. There are as many unanswered questions in that town for Ali as there are for those other girls.”

Do we think that Alison is going to be fully integrated into the Liars? To a certain extent we think so, given that she has been promoted as such in some of the material. However, we imagine that in some ways she will be very much on her own. After all, would you fully trust her if you were in Spencer or Aria’s shoes?
