‘America’s Got Talent’ preview: Howard Stern hypes up ‘spectacular’ season

During the premiere of “America’s Got Talent” this past week, you had an opportunity to see some of the first acts to hit the stage in an effort to advance forward. All in all, it was a pretty solid lineup. While the singers were a little weak (which is understandable, given that there is oversaturation there), there were a whole assortment of other great performers.

Based on the preview video below, it looks like more of the same is on the way starting up Tuesday night. Howard Stern proclaims it in the preview video below to be a “spectacular” season, which we are hoping is just not hyperbole to get us excited. With Kenichi Ebina and Taylor Williamson, last season and even the one before it to an extent have been comebacks for a show that was starting to lose its way talent-wise. There are still problems with the show (bad product integration / focus on sappy stories), but the talent should not be on that list anywhere.

Some of the acts that are teased in this preview include some musicians, some artists, and girl-fronted rock band, a basketball act, some singers, and a kid who seems to be throwing darts at balloons much to the terror of everyone in the audience. There is also someone who seems to be the successor of the balancing act guy from a past season who was very good, but had some terrible luck in the live shows falling off his structure before he could even get on.

Is there anything that you are hoping to see on “America’s Got Talent” in particular the rest of the season? Let us know below.
