’24: Live Another Day’ episode 6 preview: A possible tipping point

This should really feel very familiar to fans of “24” by now: As a threat starts to gather momentum, it is suddenly up to Jack Bauer to take on the title of hero and save the day. In the process, you of course have to think that he is going to threaten to take out a bunch of people.

After the good guys were nearly lured into a trap by Margot on this past episode of the show, Monday’s sixth episode will focus more on Jack trying out a risky plan of his own that may involve kidnapping, baiting, and trying to out-think the brilliant but terrible terrorist played by Michelle Fairley. Anytime that you see someone like Kate Morgan in a trunk, you know that things are going to start to become a little crazy.

For those who felt like some of the past few episodes of the show did not provide enough from an action point of view, maybe this will be the one to really change your mind and get your adrenaline pumping a little bit. There’s a ton that is going to happen here, and by the end of the hour you’ll have to catch your breath and process all of it. With all of this being said, we certainly don’t expect any resolution given that we still have a ways to go until we reach the end of this story. It’s too early to tell whether or not “24” itself will live to see another day; the ratings for this past episode were not good, but you could easily blame the Memorial Day holiday for that.
