‘Longmire’ season 3, episode 1 preview: Details, teaser video for premiere

It’s almost June, and for viewers of A&E at this point that largely means one thing: The return of “Longmire” to TV. Along with “Justified” over on FX, we consider this to be one of the few modern Westerns (which means adding cars and other technology) that really gets a lot of stuff right.

So on Monday night, you better be prepared for some pretty dramatic stuff while Henry struggles to prove his innocence. Meanwhile, Walt has to go down a pretty terrible path in order to figure out what happened to his wife, and it’s not going to be easy. You can get a pretty good sense of that in the season 3 logline that was recently released by the network:

“Walt is forced to shoulder all of these burdens and try to find a way to set the world right again, but one person knows he can’t do this alone – his daughter, Cady (Cassidy Freeman). She will fight in court to try and clear Henry’s name while Walt continues to unravel the dark, mysterious secrets of Absaroka County. The deeper Walt digs into all these mysteries, the closer he’ll get to uncovering the real bloody hand behind his wife’s murder.”

If there is anything you can expect from the premiere (at least in general terms), it is to get a little bit of what you want without getting everything … at least not yet. The network knows the value of making you wait for at least a few good things, so you will surely not get everything that you want immediately. answers sometimes take a while to pop up.
