‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’: Evan Peters jokes about how little he knows
The majority of the articles out there right now claiming to know anything and everything regarding “American Horror Story: Freak Show” are for the most part simply untrue. Why is that? The simple answer is that the majority of the cast members have still been in the dark until recently regarding some of what could be coming up for them.
Take, for example, one of the series’ standbys in Evan Peters. In a new interview with GoldDerby, who do a number of excellent video chats every awards season, Peters joked that he doesn’t know what is happening for him either on this season or a potential next one. Cast members are sometimes in the dark until they get a script, at least depending on whether or not they need to know some knowledge of who they are playing in order to sign on.
Peters also stated in here that when it comes to the cast, it really is year-to-year when it comes to whether or not they want to participate. It does seem that there is a core of actors that Ryan Murphy likes to use (which include him, Sarah Paulson, and Jessica Lange as the anchors), but everything is somewhat fluid and flexible. If this does turn out to be the last season for Lange, who has expressed a desire to leave in the past, then this further echoes that theory.
The new season of “American Horror Story” will begin filming very soon, and should premiere at some point on FX come October. We’ll have some further updates related to the show soon, so be on the lookout for that.
