‘White Collar’ season 6: Some assorted fun (and schedule talk) with Matt Bomer
So how does the new interview with Matt Bomer on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” have anything to do with “White Collar“? It’s more about indirect mentions than anything else.
Basically, what Bomer says in this chat further verifies that the final six episodes are going to be filmed this summer, which you may have known already thanks to social media. Production officially starts early next month, and Matt has his trademark hair back that he needs in order to rock out as Neal Caffrey. He’s going to be shooting the “Magic Mike” sequel this fall, which leaves him a window of a few months to finish up the USA series.
For those wondering about a premiere date, that has not been announced just yet. All we can say for the time being is that you are likely to see the show on the air again either this fall, or possibly in the new year if they want to run six episodes straight through in January when there is lesser competition. either way, it is easy to celebrate the fact that we are going to get a chance to see the end of Neal’s story, especially after there was a span of a few weeks where it was not entirely clear that we were going to get an ending at all.
Also, congratulations are in order for Matt following his Critic’s Choice TV Award nomination for “The Normal Heart,” which received quite a bit of love from the organization.

Happy that we’ll get a decent conclusion to this awesome series. Neal’s journey has been a rollercoaster ride and hoping that he finds himself in a good place at the end of the series. Matt has said in another interview that the final season will be “wild and fun”. Sounds great to me. So glad Sara is gone. Don’t know why but I could hardly stand her. Talk about horrible acting!

What I WANT to see on White Collar is 16 episodes for Season 6 and then 16 more for Season 7, etc., but that’s not going to happen. So, I hope Neal winds up in a good place looking forward to his future. Matt is a very talented actor and I hope he gets the success he deserves. I’ll go see the new Magic Mike, but I am hoping The Normal Heart will open up new opportunities for him in movies and on TV. I like looking forward to seeing him every week!

magic mike is a downgrade from Neal —-please continue White Collar- Neal does not have to have a story…lets just continue from the FBI using same cast….NCIS has set an example that has shown how shows can have a staying power without one character having their own personal soap opera.
Keep Neal, Peter, Diane,Jones, Sarah and wonderful Dianne Carroll.
