‘Person of Interest’ season 4 spoilers: The action begins in the writers room
Excited for a new season of “Person of Interest“? So are we, especially since we know now that there are a team of writers already working on making sure that the upcoming fourth season is a great one.
There were multiple confirmations online this week that the team is now back at work, which is really not that much of a break compared to some of the actors. Then again, the writers don’t have to do all of the publicity appearances, and they also don’t have the same exact experience on set. In general, pretty much every job in TV requires that you put in crazy hours, and sometimes you don’t always get credit for your greatness from the fans. (There are luckily exceptions, though!)
The way that the writers set up season 4 is certainly interesting, given that you would probably expect a network show to at least try to push things in a little bit more in a positive direction that this one did. It was one of the more somber finales of the season, and that capped off a season that already had in it the death of a major character in Carter. It certainly feels like the episodes ahead will be all about the rise of the machines, and whether or not the team can assemble and figure out a way to stop terrible things from happening with a product that is basically the opposite of what they originally set out to do.
While there is no formal premiere date yet for the new “Person of Interest” season, think along the lines of late September. These things rarely change for network shows.

Will they include an episode about the fact that Jehovah will soon cause the United Nations to ban religion worldwide? Revelation chapters 17 & 18

Carter was a Detective then an Officer, never an Agent. She started to be recruited into the FBI but they turned her down. You may want to fix that. Especially because ABC has a show next season called Agent Carter

Amen Deborah, I love how Season three ended, having the four of them change identities and going their separate ways. I am wondering if it will be set in New York next season, I guess some of it will be as there was no mention that Fusco was being written out. Does anyone think that he will be the first person in danger once Decima put together the connection he had to Finch, Reese, and Shaw? I am annoyed that they killed off Carter; because of all she went through to take down HR and then she just died, not because Reese was in love with her. How much of a happy life could they expect to have, running and hiding all the time. But she is missed by me every week when I watch the show.

It’s still set in New York. The city’s a character by itself & the writers made it clear that they have no plans to leave anytime soon.

Reese wasn’t in love with her. He loved her. There is a difference. That kiss was not in the script it was improved by JC. And they didnt just randomly kill her off. She died doing what she believed in. It was beautiful really. I appreciate that the writers have the balls to throw a curve like the death of a main character because it shows that nobody is safe. I guarantee in the final season Finch or Reese or both will die. My guess is they will show Harold’s death which will cause Reese to go all Devil’s Share on the enemy and he will die in the process. Then the last shot will be of Harold sitting on the bench under the bridge recruiting the next man in the suit. But instead of saying how they will both probably end up dead. He will say how many have died for the cause.

Just continue the excellent writing, acting, directing, and have our heroes be safe as they fight the good fight.

I agree. The writing this season was breathtaking. My only complaint is that in all 3 finales Finch is taken.
