‘Britain’s Got Talent’ results: will.i.am performs; are Bars & Harmony, Light Balance in finale?
Tonight’s “Britain’s Got Talent” results show to us, didn’t exactly have a lot of drama going into it. There were two acts in Bars & Melody and Light Balance who were obvious choices to advance, and from there you had Lettice Rowbotham as a distant possibility alongside Eva Iglesias.
Before we do anything else, though, perhaps we should start off here with a little bit of an eye roll at will.i.am’s “musical performance” during the show. Is the “Voice UK” judge trying to sabotage something that Simon Cowell owns? This wasn’t really music or a performance, and we’re pretty sure the judges would’ve buzzed him if they were given a chance. Funny thing is that we still really like Will as a guy; we’ve interviewed him before, and he is super-nice and intelligent to go along with it.
Now, let’s prepare for the results … and the moment where we started to feel very silly for thinking that this was already over. It’s always when you are 100% sure that something crazy happens, and seeing Light Balance not in the top 3 was a shock. Maybe, we thought the judges could vote against them, but they were instead out and Innova Dance Company and Lettice were the last two waiting for the judges’ decision after Bars & Melody won the round.
The underdog story with Innova, who had the challenge of opening the show and still made it all the way to the top 3, came to an end with a deadlock vote. The public got the power again, and Lettice found a way to make her way through despite a pretty uneven performance.
