‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: ‘One Tree Hill’ alum serves as valuable help

Given the present state for Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills on “Sleepy Hollow,” we really do feel like the two need just about all of the help that they can get. This is where the following slice of casting news comes into play now.

According to a new report from TVLine, “One Tree Hill” and “Harper’s Island” alum Matt Barr is going to recur throughout the show’s second season as Nick Hawley, a good-looking bounty hunter who is going to enter the world of the show in some capacity, and also be a potential aid to Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie’s characters as they get deeper and deeper into the mystery that is the potential apocalypse.

So let’s raise another interesting question here now: Is it possible that this guy could actually end up becoming somewhat of a love interest to Abbie? This is not something that the character has really explored on the show yet, but now is the time where she could really need some romance to help level things out.

Surely, there will be some additional casting news that comes out in the weeks ahead, especially as we get closer and closer to the premiere happening. There is no date around that just yet, but we imagine the show starting up in either August or September. Typically, a late September premiere for most shows was assumed, but we are not exactly at the point now where that is a given anymore.
