‘True Blood’ season 7: Another poster … with a Merlotte’s twist
In the midst of all the scoop that has been shared regarding “True Blood” season 7, has a certain beloved bar been reasonably left out of the equation? It’s possible, and we are hear to correct that with the latest poster from the show.
This one is certainly simple enough, as it features a bloody shot glass with the name Merlotte’s across the front of it. Without Sam’s establishment, the show just wouldn’t be the same, and you cannot expect too much to change now just because some infected vampires are slowly working their way towards the tiny Louisiana town of Bon Temps.
What is the endgame for Sam? That is something that we are certainly curious to see. We don’t have any real attachment to this Nicole story from last year, even if him as a father is something that we would be interesting. The problem here is that we don’t see him and Tara as the endgame anymore thanks to her feelings for Pam, and we also don’t see him with Sookie. His reaction to her throwing himself at him at the end of last season was one that showed that he does not want to settle for being in last place.
Let’s just hope for something happy for Sam and everyone else that works at his restaurant, including two characters who have lost significant pieces of their lives in Lafayette (Jesus) and Arlene (Terry). They deserve to have something that is reasonably happy rather than just being condemned to be sad for the rest of their lives … or dead.
