‘Britain’s Got Talent’ video: Ant & Dec’s golden-buzzer act is Toju
Monday night marks the beginning for the live “Britain’s Got Talent” broadcasts, where you will have an opportunity to see all of the acts live who made it through to that point in the competition … and this includes Toju.
This act from this weekend’s edition of the show was the final one put through to the next round, and this moment came courtesy of the show’s two hosts in Ant & Dec who decided that they were going to award someone who has charisma, humor, and a variety of great impressions. These two proved during the show that they are far too nice of people to really be judges on the show, but they do have a knack for understanding how hard it is to put on a successful comedy act.
As for Toju’s prospects in this live show, so much of that will be dependent on material. You cannot use the golden buzzer moment as some sort of proof that he will be good enough to get a pass into the finale, since this is an act that it is so easy to flop on even in comparison to most everything else. For a singer, for instance, you just have to be sure you perform something that you have done many times over. Comedy, meanwhile, is more subjective, and you have to prepare yourself for a number of possible factors that include a tough crowd.
