‘The X Factor’ USA: Alex & Sierra’s ‘Scarecrow’ lyric video … coming soon!

Do you love Alex & Sierra? Then you have to love the thought of getting to see their new lyric video for “Scarecrow” in the near future.

It was a post on Twitter that the “X Factor” duo made the announcement that the video was coming this week; as a matter of fact, it may be online by the time that you see this. (We’ll have it updated soon in the event that this happens with the video.) The timing is seemingly right for the video, given that they have spent months working in the studio on a debut album, and then have also filmed the music video for the song already.

So what is another benefit of releasing the song soon? The potential of getting “song of the summer” status. This is a title that is coveted by many in the industry, and there are all sorts of opportunities to play gigs and shows over the course of the summer. One of the great platforms for the two could be a spot on a morning show Summer Concert Series … just throwing that out there in the event that someone can make it happen.

There is no release date yet for a debut album, but we have to believe that we are going to have a little bit more on that in the months ahead. Let’s just take the good news one thing at a time, now shall we? Given that the end of “American Idol” and “The Voice” means fewer singing-competition stories, we may have some more time to cover the individual artists.
