‘Bones’ season 10 spoilers: What happens to Booth and Brennan next?

The deeper you get into seasons of a show, sometime it is more difficult to keep the stories feeling fresh, but “Bones” is not one of those shows. Season after season, the masterminds behind “Bones” have figured out a way to keep things entertaining and new. Many viewers feared that after the Booth and Brennan wedding that there would be no more story to tell, since we’ve seen it on many other shows that a wedding of the two main characters can be the kiss of death for a series, however this has not been the case here.

In the season 9 finale, we saw Booth not only struggling to stay alive, but also to stay out of jail. The three men that raided Booth’s house looking for him in the finale are apparently FBI agents, and now he is facing jail for killing them. Not only that, but Brennan hasn’t even had a chance to embrace her husband since he was shot. So what happens next?

When “Bones” returns for season 10 in the fall there will be a bit of a time jump… think 3 months later. Will Booth and Brennan have seen each other? Executive Producer Stephan Nathan spoke to TVline about this subject and had this to say about the matter:

“They will definitely have seen each other. Although they won’t have touched each other. It will be three months later when we see them again. And they have been through a lot.”

We have a bit of a wait until “Bones” returns to Fox, but it is going to be well worth the wait. They have set up season 10 to be a thrill ride and we can’t wait to see how it all plays out.
