‘Teen Wolf’ season 4 spoilers: See Tyler Posey (and an Allison tribute?) in promo

The latest promo for “Teen Wolf” season 4 arrived online today, and in watching it, you clearly get a sense that MTV is looking to play with the heartstrings a little bit … even more so than with some past teasers.

At first, this promo just looks sort of gritty, sandy, and a reflection of some of the mythology that is going to be introduced with Kate Argent as the were-jaguar. You have Tyler Posey and company looking awesome, and MTV reminding themselves that they are a music network by having some music playing in the background.

Then, things get a little bit more emotional when you see the bow … an obvious reference to a certain someone who has already fallen in Kate Argent. There is also an interesting sort of statement made here to being an original cast member, at least in that you get a chance to see the longstanding characters in here without any of the newcomers. We suppose that this is not meant as a slight so much as a reminder that these awesome people were all here first, and that deserves a  little bit of extra love.

While it is still too early to know if this new season is going to be more action-packed like season 3A or creepy like 3B, but we are more rooting for the later. After seeing so many shirtless battle scenes, they all start to blend together over time.
