‘True Blood’ season 7 spoilers: Speculating on Alexander Skarsgard, Sam Trammell, ‘Fire’ title
We are still eagerly awaiting the premiere of “True Blood” season 7 on June 22, so while we wait, why not have a little bit of fun talking about one of the show’s episode titles?
Typically when it comes to this show, names really mean something. This is not the sort of show where they are just being coy or trying to distract you. So when you hear the news (per SpoilerTV) that the next upcoming episode is going to be titled “Fire in the Hole,” you have to question right away what in the world is going to burn.
From our estimation, there are a few pretty interesting choices.
1. A vampire – Maybe this entire episode will be spent watching Alexander Skarsgard’s Eric fry in the sun, but that’s not that exciting for an hour. We at least know going into the show’s second episode that Pam is still trying to find him, but even when she does, we don’t really consider a vampire under the sun to be something that you yellow “fire in the hole” over.
2. A place – Obviously, Merlotte’s has to be considered a possibility here. The same goes for Fangtasia, which could be another way to bring Pam and Eric back to the rest of the cast. finally, consider someone’s house like Sookie or Bill’s, or maybe some location that we haven’t seen just yet.
3. A plan – Maybe this is a great way to get rid of the infected vampires: Trap them somewhere, and then set them all on fire. It could work, right? It would at least be the one out of these three possibilities that would produce the most insane television.
