‘The Mentalist’ season 6, episode 22 (finale) spoilers: Jane, Lisbon, and a smile
Every good romance has a scene of a love interest coming down a flight of stairs in a flowing gown, so why shouldn’t “The Mentalist,” too? In our mind, we at least picture someone at CBS saying something like this while they envisioned out the sneak peek below from Sunday night’s season finale.
In this video, you can see Lisbon enter the room at the super-fancy establishment that all the parties are in on what could be their final case … or at least this is what the powers that be would like you to believe. There is really not a whole lot else here to report on right now, mostly because there is not that much that the show wants to give away. The real crux of the story will be here the moment that Jane finally admits that he has serious feelings, and he doesn’t want the woman he loves to walk away. He’s just got to figure out whether or not he has the passion within him to muster such a confession.
If these two do get together, can you imagine what season 7 will be like? The final 13 episodes could be spent with the two trying to figure out what a relationship together could look like, and also planning for what would most definitely be an unusual (but interesting) future. Who knows? Maybe we could get set up for the sort of wedding finale that so many out there love.

I’m still 50-50 that Jane and Lisbon will end up together. While I have no doubt that Jane would tell Lisbon how he feels about her, if he really does feel that way about her, it’s wether he is able to convey that he is serious about his feelings that I question.
I doubt Lisbon will give up having the type of relationship she has with Pike for Jane without there being sometype of sign from Jane that not only is he serious in what he is saying but that he is serious about wanting a future with her. Which I believe would be hard for Jane to do, since he’s already lied once about saying ‘love you’ to her and he has been shown to know just what to say to get Lisbon to think that he’s being serious enough to effect her judgment. Ie when he left her on the cliff. I mean without some type of proof that he’s being serious, Lisbon could end up thinking that Jane is just saying that stuff to get her to change her mind and doesn’t really mean what he says.
