’24: Live Another Day’ episode 3 preview: Action, action, and more action

Just in case you felt like the first half of the “24: Live Another Day” premiere this past Monday was a little slow-moving, we come today bearing some good news: You are probably going to really enjoy everything that the show has up its sleeve moving forward. There is some exciting, crazy sequences that are going to play out the rest of the way, and you can see at least a little bit of that in the new preview video below from tomorrow night’s new episode.

This is an incredibly hard show to tease, mostly because season by season, it doesn’t change too much save for the circumstances. There is a problem, Jack Bauer gets involved, dominates the universe, says some cool stuff, and is then the hero. Sometimes he is appreciated, and sometimes he is not. The start of this season, where he was a persona non grata to just about everyone in America, was in particular chilling. He has to be the hero without any of the glory.

If there is one issue about this show that is constantly going to polarize us, it is the episode titles. In a way, we understand the necessity of naming them after times, since that is the whole gimmick of the show to do so. At the same time, we also wish that they would attach a name to go along with them so we could point out great things about each hour easier in conversations with friends. This may all be “24” sacrilege to say such things, but we had to get it out there.
