ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 finale: Best moments for Stana Katic’s Kate, Nathan Fillion’s Rick

Before the “Castle” finale airs on ABC Monday night, here’s a chance to really get nostalgic and look a little bit at what some of the best moments from the show’s run between the two of them. Some of the content from the video below you probably remember well from the episode “Still,” which featured Beckett in a near-death situation for most of the hour. However, there is some new stuff thrown in here as well.

The theme for the video is “Always,” which is a word that has become very important for the couple thanks to everything that they have been through. You may even get a little emotional watching this, as you remember everything that the couple has gone through to get to where they are. It also is a reminder of just how much Stana Katic has changed her hairstyle over the years for the role.

There is a tiny bit of new footage in here of the wedding itself, or at least of Beckett in her new wedding dress (different than the one we saw earlier in the season for some reason) and also the location where the wedding is supposed to happen. Whether or not it actually goes down there remains to be seen, mostly because TV has a nasty habit of making really crazy things happen right around the time that people are supposed to be happy.

More than anything else, though, we see this video as for of a love letter to the fans for sticking around all these years, and being so excited to see the payoff for these characters finally being together. Hopefully, this will meet expectations and then some.
