‘Shark Tank’ preview: Cinnaholic, Bon Affair, and a Cousins Maine Lobster update
Can you believe that we are near the end of this “Shark Tank” season? It is a pretty crazy thought, but it is definitely the truth that in the matter of just eight days, we will be staring at the end of a fun, crazy ride.
Luckily, we’ll have a chance to see some more good products before then. Friday night’s episode is our favorite panel of sharks (Mark Cuban, Robert Herjavec, Kevin O’Leary, Daymond John, and Barbara Corcoran), and the products seem reasonably interesting based on the synopsis below via ABC:
“Self-professed wine connoisseur Kevin O’Leary gives advice to a lady from Solano Beach, CA on her lighter, healthier alternative to a full-bodied wine. Likewise, Robert Herjavec has some suggestions for a former merchant marine from Anacortes, WA on his innovative, deep-sea treasure hunting business. Three men from San Francisco, CA hope to paddle their way into a deal with a collapsible kayak that folds up like the traditional Japanese art of origami, and a couple from Pleasant Hill, CA reveal to the Sharks the surprising twist they put into their decadent cinnamon rolls.”
Want to know some of our favorite products? Well, these are at least the ones that stand out to us. (Update: Click here to see our review for this episode!)
Cinnaholic – We love food. Maybe this is why the idea of a gourmet cinnamon roll appeals to us. The only thing we worry about is whether or not this is something that can be scaled, unless you find a way to insert locations of this Berkeley shop in other places. (We cannot find ourselves ordering in a cinnamon roll when we can just go to a bakery and buy one.)
Bon Affair – We have no idea how a wine spritzer tastes, and are probably one of the last people you would want to talk to when it comes to a wine spritzer. Yet, we are very intrigued by the concept here of finding a way to bring the taste of wine to a different crowd looking for something lighter. Plus, they have a nice, professional-looking website.
