‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5, episode 21 preview: Ian Somerhalder, Kat Graham’s debate

Life’s got to be pretty hard right now for a certain Bonnie Bennett on “The Vampire Diaries.” After all, not only does she have to be the physical form of transport between the lands of the living and the dead, but she also seems to be stuck in the position of mediator. If this whole “trying to stay alive” thing in Mystic Falls doesn’t work out, then maybe she can go star in a TLC show to replace “Long Island Medium.”

In the sneak peek video below from Thursday’s episode, Bonnie is stuck trying to deal with a certain Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) who is not too keen on listening to his dead former friend Enzo. There’s obviously some serious bad blood here, and she wants the two of them to try and talk things out a little bit. The twist? Damon is not particularly interested in listening … which only angers Enzo further.

The part of this sneak peek that we find especially funny is something that we have seen on the show a number of times in the past, and that is the traditional “Damon lists off all the horrible things that are currently happening.” There are quite a few terrible things right now, so running through this list actually does take a minute or so.

Hopefully, these two can resolve their issues before the finale airs, but this is unlikely. At this point, Enzo is one of the most-notable guest roles of the season, and the show has an affinity for trying to keep these going for as long as they possibly can.
