‘Person of Interest’ season 3, episode 23 (finale) spoilers: The battle with Vigilance ends
You have witnessed a crazy season of “Person of Interest” for the past 22 weeks, but come this time next Tuesday, the story is finally going to be coming to a close … at least when it comes to Vigilance. Given that this group has not exactly been our favorite this season, we are happy to see this part of it potentially ending.
What is a little bit more exciting to us, though, is the issue as to whether or not Root is really going to be able to take down Samaritan with the help of her team. We like how the story was set up and where it has the potential to go, but what we remain curious about with the Root character is this: Once you get her to take out this machine, what role is she to play next? So much of what she does on the show is tied to chaos, and we have to wait and see how all of that plays out.
If you want to get some more news all about this finale (entitled “Deus Ex Machina), just be sure to view the synopsis below:
“The team takes desperate actions in its race to prevent the malevolent AI program Samaritan from coming online and making them its first targets. Meanwhile, the months-long battle with the anti-surveillance terrorist group Vigilance comes to a shocking conclusion.”
Everything about this story for the time being suggests awesomeness, and hopefully it will continue to moving forward. Also, let’s hope for at least some sort of teaser regarding a potential fourth season and what it can bring. Given that this show was renewed a long time ago, there could be opportunities here for the writers to get something together.
