‘The Originals’ episode 21 preview: Joseph Morgan and a negotiation
Has “The Originals” provided Klaus with a change in his way of thinking? In pondering over this question, we imagine that the answer is somewhere between a yes and a no. He has become more sympathetic and certainly more tender, but there are still many layers of darkness here underneath the surface. The violent tendencies are still there, and so is the madness. Being an expecting father doesn’t change that.
However, there may still be more change to come, and the Klaus character has to do what he can to take out potential threats who could get in the way of what he wants. Just take a look at Josph Morgan’s comments per Entertainment Weekly for more on that:
“The emotional investment that Klaus has finally made in his child and the potential for the child to save him, to redeem Klaus is huge, so the witches, Genevieve, particularly, being a threat to his child is pretty worrying as well.”
Klaus is facing one of the most epic battles that the series has ever seen on the new episode airing Tuesday night, and you can see a little bit more about that just by taking a look at the sneak peek below via the website. There are going to be some pretty hefty surprises in store for this hour, and there is one other thing that you also have to remember here in that every single thing that plays out over the course of this hour is going to bleed over into what will be an epic season-ending episode next week.
