‘The Mentalist’ season 6, episode 20 preview: Are Lisbon and Pike starting to struggle?
For most of their short relationship so far on “The Mentalist,” Pike and Lisbon have gotten along swimmingly. They have some obvious things in common professionally, but based on everything that we’ve seen from them so far, there are also plenty of things that they don’t have in common
Well, we may have also figured out now that Lisbon is no fan of old movies. Also, she’s also struggling with some issues with moving to DC that she’s not entirely comfortable with talking about with Pike. Is it Jane? We have to consider that it could be, but at the same time, it’s hard to really tell just how much those issues are on the forefront of her mind. Did she not date anyone in the two years that Jane was away after killing Red John, or did seeing him again suddenly think that the two could have some sort of tangible future together?
Given that putting Pike and Lisbon together for good would probably send fans into a frenzy, it is hard to see “The Mentalist” end the season / possibly the series with something like that. They are so much more likely to say goodbye with at least something in the Jane / Lisbon camp, and that means very bad news when it comes to Pike. We feel for the guy, but at the same time, that’s just the way TV works. He doesn’t seem like a bad person at all, and on most shows, he would be the perfect person to sweep a character off their feet. It’s just the wrong show at the wrong time for him here, so all of you who like to ponder fictional futures for characters can imagine him going off to Washington and finding someone else.

It’s not hard for me to imagine The Mentalist ending with fans in a frenzy because Lisbon and Pike ended up together for good. I mean out of all the shows I’ve seen, The Mentalist seems the most likely to do that.

Wrong once again.
Stop typing the same things
It will be Jane and Lisbon together not Lisbon and Pike and that’s that.
The only reason Pike was brought in was to make Jane and Lisbon open there eyes which is going to happen in the Season 6 Finale and see that they do have more then a friendship and work colleague thing going on and that’s Romance thing so it will end with Jane and Lisbon with Pike been ( ::Kicked out the door:: )

My post had nothing to do with what I think will or won’t happen.
I was just stating that of all the shows I’ve watched where fans want two characters to get together, The Mentalist is probably the only show that would probably do such a thing. I wasn’t saying that it would happen or it wouldn’t happen that way, just stating that I’m not quick to say that it couldn’t possibly happen.
Like I have said I would like to see Jane and Lisbon get together at the end, but I’m not (like some have seem to be doing) aloowing what I would like to have happen stop me from seeing every possiblity of what could happen.
