‘The Tomorrow People’ finale spoilers: Death, powers, and surprises galore
Monday night, The CW will air what could be a pretty epic finale for “The Tomorrow People.” The show has really started to get momentum going as of late, and in addition to that, they have succeeded in giving every person a specific role in the proceedings.
Going into the finale, Stephen and Cara have to figure out a way to use their powers for the good of mankind, and keep The Founder from eradicating the human race. Meanwhile, John and Astrid have to figure out what they can do without powers, Roger has to suffer the weight of what has transpired with him, and Russell has to realize just how bad of a decision he made turning Roger over. There may or may not be time for him to redeem his mistake … but we should be able to find out pretty soon.
Executive producer Phil Klemmer, who has been kind enough to tease most of the season via The CW’s website, does so again below talking about how characters will die, characters will lose their powers, and some other surprises that are in story in this episode. The one thing that is omitted here is Jedikiah, who found himself with powers at the end of this past episode and was already keen on wrecking havoc. It’s pretty fair to say that he is someone who will have to be dealt with one way or another before things come to a close.
As for whether or not this is the series finale as well as the season finale, the decision is still unclear. If you want an extra incentive to watch the finale, even if you haven’t seen the season, remember that Klemmer was a big part of “Chuck,” which is one of our favorite shows ever.
