‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 4 finale spoilers: Wo Fat’s return and more

After a solid run this season on Friday night, next week “Hawaii Five-0” will be waving aloha to the show’s fourth season with a new episode next week that should tie together some loose ends, tell an incredible story,  and also feature the return of an old face.

Of course, we don’t want to bury the lead too far here: Wo Fat’s return is going to be a huge part in the story. We’re still trying to figure out how we feel about this. The “villain escaping from prison” story is so tired, but there are few villains on this show better than him. Maybe we’ll be okay with accepting it for now, but moving forward, we do need something a little bit different in the “evil” department.

“When Grover’s daughter is kidnapped by an old nemesis, he is forced to help steal $100 million in order to get her back. Meanwhile, Wo Fat escapes prison and heads back to Oahu.”

In the preview video below, you can also see the return of Nick Jonas for the episode. That should be a nice little ratings boost for the show, which is already doing rather well on its own. Luckily, it is doing well enough that the show was already renewed for a fifth season, and we have to imagine that there will be plenty of other opportunities for him to return. After all, he is popular enough.
