‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: Michael Weatherly’s brief ‘Admiral’s Daughter’ tease

The latest -This week’s “NCIS” was a great showcase for Pauley Perrette and the Abby character, and going into next week’s all-new episode, you better get ready for the focus to shift yet again. Who are we looking at this time around? It’s none other than Michael Weatherly and his character of Tony.

The basic premise of the episode you can more about here, but it basically revolves around Tony’s mission to bring a young woman back from France, and some of the complications that go along with that. There will be some comedy, but also a little bit of everything that “NCIS” has delivered over the years.

For Weatherly himself, the one thing that he is certain about at the moment is that this is one of his favorite episodes to date. For more on that, see what he had to say in an interview with TVLine:

“[This is my] favorite episode in a long time, one where I got to do some other things … [It is] Charade-style fun — sort of like Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn on the run.”

Yes, this is not exactly the finest teaser in all the land, but anytime that Weatherly wants to reference some classics from old Hollywood is cool with us. We’re glad to see him out in the field, and doing something without having to rely on anyone else directly on the team. Eventually, Gibbs and company could get involved in his mission, but not necessarily at first. We imagine already that this qualifies for “one of those things that looks easy on paper, and then turns out to be trouble.” (A long phrase to put into quotes, but it works nonetheless.)
