‘Suits’ season 4: USA will hype up series with fan-chosen marathon

USA has clearly figured out a way to make social media not only work for them from a promotional standpoint, but to also have it impact their own schedule.

Last summer, the network used “Psych” fans on Twitter, along with the show’s stars, to create a series of interactive nights that were especially fun and different for a cable network. So with all of this in mind, why wouldn’t they decide to go for it again with a different popular show in “Suits“? It is, after all, a nice way to give the show extra promotion for its season 4 premiere on Wednesday, June 11.

USA confirmed recently that on Friday, June 6 from 12:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m., the network is going to run a marathon of six episodes, with each one focusing on a different main character whether it be Harvey, Mike, Rachel, Donna, Jessica, or Louis Litt. You can see the choices and vote for them at the link here. There will also be a second-screen experience called “Suits Live,” where you can take advantage of a number of different interactive options.

Granted, there are plenty of people out there who do not have the capacity to stay up all night to watch a TV show, but that’s what the DVR is for! While some of the bonus live coverage isn’t as accessible to you, it will be possible at least to see some of the other fun stuff that USA puts out there for you. For the “Psych” marathon, we still checked it out after the fact just to see the heartfelt cast goodbye videos. “Suits” may not be going anywhere for a while, but there will probably still be some fun moments.
