‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7: Theo Rossi looks at Juice’s possible future

The latest -Sons of Anarchy” season 7 is going to be the end of a long, devastating ride for many of the characters, but for some it could be more devastating than others.

Take, for example, Juice. It’s a miracle that this guy is still alive for one thing, given his betrayals, his complicated history with Jax, and what stems now from his role as body disposal in the season 6 finale. He faces the hardest road of all to redemption, since he has to get it first from a club in SAMCRO that is also irredeemable in its own right. Could Juice be killed before the journey is over? Theo Rossi does not know, but he has a pretty good perspective on everything that could happen. He explains such in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly:

“A lot of people say that because of the whole Hamlet [comparison], and let’s be honest, every year we lose major characters left and right. The season 6 finale, I think, was the most shocking episode we ever did in every way. ou have dreams of being the last guy standing, the one riding off, but you know, … I’ve done a lot of bad things.”

Rossi also goes on to explain more about possibilities for his character, and ultimately how little he knows right now going into the start of filming:

“I’m so intrigued to see what [creator Kurt Sutter] does. I go back to watch all the episodes before I start [shooting a new season], just to get into the mind-set and remember … Jax saying, ‘You betrayed me,’ the covering up for Gemma – I don’t know if you’re gonna see Juice hangin’ out makin’ smoothies in the clubhouse when we open up. Who knows where he’s gonna be or what’s gonna happen. I could be, like, covered in leaves, hiding somewhere, all decrepit.”

Production starts next month on the final season, and Sutter and the writers have been hard at work shaping what will be the end of the series. He said in a recent “WTFSutter” video that he and his team are working under the philosophy that this is yet another season, and are not trying to further attach the wait of the series finale to it.

What do you think will transpire for Juice before “Sons of Anarchy” comes to a close, and do you think it is likely that he will die now before any other major character? Sound off below, and head over here to score more TV updates via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
