‘The Mentalist’ season 6, episode 20 preview: ‘Il Tavolo Blanco,’ and Jane / Lisbon drama
“The Mentalist” tonight had a combination of serious and silly, with the latter coming mainly in the form of seeing Abbott in a cowboy hat. There was also of course the continuation of the Pike/ Lisbon / Pike love triangle, which is going to be nearing a conclusion soon.
The next new episode of the show is entitled “Il Tavolo Blanco,” which just so happens to be a really clever way of saying “The White Table” in Italian. So look at that: The color theme continues! You can also see the full synopsis from this hour via CBS below:
“Jane’s freedom is at stake when a grand jury is empanelled to decide if he should be tried for the murder of Red John. Meanwhile, Lisbon tries to find out how Jane feels about the possibility of her leaving Austin with Agent Pike, and Cho and Abbott follow new leads in the human smuggling ring they recently uncovered.”
The situation that Jane has himself in now is a rather tricky one, mostly because he acted like Lisbon moving wasn’t a big deal … even though he knew in his heart that it was. He couldn’t bring himself to say the words yet, and that is all going to be up to figuring out now if he can. He’s not going to have a whole lot of time to that, so he better get to thinking fast about how to fix it.
If you’re looking for the episode’s promo, hopefully it’ll be out tonight to attach below. Update: There’s now one below; the quality isn’t great, but it should still give you enough to look forward to.

I loved the episode, even with the silly cowboy hat. But I cannot find a way to express my frustrated with CBS and their stupidity! I am keeping my fingers crossed, which is all I can do…..
