‘Royal Pains’ season 6 spoilers: First details on the premiere

Have you missed some “Royal Pains” on USA? We have not made it a secret in the slightest that this is a personal favorite of ours, and we’re therefore excited to see what happens when Hank, Evan, and everyone else at the Hamptons collides once again this summer. This also feels like a much more realistic Hamptons than the one on “Revenge,” where everyone constantly wants to kill each other. The only stretch here is that everyone is either constantly getting hurt, or developing some sort of extreme medical condition.

So what can you expect for the premiere? SpoilerTV posted a brief synopsis for it recently, and this is at least something that we can dive into:

“Hank returns to the Hamptons; Evan hatches a plan to keep Hank in town; Divya experiences motherhood; a party guest has surprising news.”

The Evan story is what we’re currently expecting to find the greatest enjoyment in, mostly because the majority of his plans are crazy and rarely work out quite like he expects for them to. Sometimes, they even work by accident! As for the Divya plot, it’s nice to see that the show is finally embracing her as a mother after the whole pregnancy plot from last year, but let’s just hope that it is not something so overwhelming that it takes away from almost everything else with the show. This is why we are constantly polarized by children on drama series, since the writers often back themselves into a corner by making the stories almost entirely about the children and act like characters have nothing else going on. Luckily, we cannot see that happening here given that Divya is such a complicated character.
