‘Teen Wolf’ season 4 spoilers: About the latest villain

You knew already that “Teen Wolf” season 4 is going to be premiering on MTV Monday, June 23, but what has come out of today is a villain known by only two simple words: “The Benefactor.”

Does this mean that the villain is either Daddy Warbucks or Mark Cuban from his short-lived ABC series? It’s doubtful, but the latter could be pretty fun since he could try to invest in werewolf technology. It’s an enigmatic teaser for the time being, and the only confirmed villain that we know for the fourth season right now is Kate Argent (Jill Wagner). There were-jaguar alone is reason to tune in, so finding another character to take interest in is icing on the cake.

The fact that the MTV series alone would choose to name a villain “The Benefactor” is pretty funny, mostly since that is something that you traditionally think of as a good thing. The question is how this person will be implemented, and if they can top some of the previous “big bads” to appear on the show. Deucalion was one of the big ones from the first half of last season, but he was more or less replaced with Stiles of all he people to close out season 3. When it comes to freaking out the show’s fans, this was one of the most effective stories that the show has done to date.

No matter what, you have to think that “Teen Wolf” is going to be as intense and crazy as you would expect. This is one of MTV’s highest-rated shows, so expectations are of course high.
