‘Ink Master’ season 4, episode 9 podcast: Jessa and Bart on the Scott Marshall ‘tracing’ situation

Ink MasterWe have seen a lot of favoritism over the years on “Ink Master” season 4, but we haven’t seen anything like what’s going on with Scott Marshall and the judging panel… not even what happened last season with Tatu Baby compares to this.

Scott is a favorite of the judges, the fans and even of us. His tattoos are solid, gorgeous and he’s consistently putting out great tattoos, but what happens when he starts playing by his own rules and isn’t following what’s laid out for him int he competition? When it was demon week, he didn’t tattoo a demon, but got praised. What about lettering week when he tattooed a word that was illegible and the accompanying picture design was a flag that was flying backwards? And the last episode we had a tattoo of a warrior on a horse and the horse didn’t have any ears. These things are being over looked by the judges that have rose colored glasses on when it comes to the greatness that is Scott Marshall, but is it right?

On this week’s CarterMatt “Ink Master” podcast, Jessa and Bart are going to put the focus squarely on Scott and if there is anyway he could ever look bad in the eyes of the judging panel. On this past episode we saw Gentle Jay find a reference photo that Scott used for this warrior tattoo that was he felt was a “tracing” and not just a reference, but when he presented the evidence to the judges with confidence they quickly dismissed it. We will also be ranking the remaining contestants on where we think they will place in the competition and if there is anyone that can beat Scott.
