‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5 spoilers: First look at ‘Exposure’

Like with the flagship series, the sad news to report today is that there is no new episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” airing on CBS tonight. The network wants to get as much of the show into the May sweeps as possible!

So to help try to soften that blow a little bit, we are here with an update on “Exposure,” which is the 23rd episode of the season (a.k.a. the last one before the finale). While there are no apparent details on whether this story will revolve around Sam, Callen, Kensi, or any other characters in the cast, we do have a general idea about what the episode will revolve around. Just take a look at the synopsis below for more on what you can expect:

“When a news reporter announces the group responsible for the deadly explosion at a military-sponsored charity event, the team must investigate her claims and search for the attacker.”

Some of the issues that will be addressed here almost right away are the nature of news reporting, and how to handle something that is released so publicly. It’s hard to judge every intention based on a tiny blurb in a synopsis, but everything within this suggests to us that this reporter may have made this announcement out of her own personal desire to be a hero, not really thinking about what the implications could be versus going to an organization and giving them the information you know. Isn’t it better to be safe than to do anything crazy?

Hopefully, we’ll have some more news on this episode soon. Be on the lookout for it!
