‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: Penny looks to her future with Leonard
Are Leonard and Penny finally going to take their relationship to the next level on “The Big Bang Theory“? While we cannot confirm that one way or another, you can at least be assured that the subject of the couple’s future will at least be addressed later this season.
The 23rd episode of the season is entitled “The Gorilla Dissolution,” and almost everything about this episode other than the title (unless you really are excited about the gorilla movie) screams “end of the season.” Take a look at the synopsis below:
“A bad day causes Penny to reevaluate her life choices – including Leonard. Meanwhile, Howard and Bernadette struggle to care for Mrs. Wolowitz, and Raj gets relationship advice from Sheldon.”
This episode airs on May 8, and is the second-to-last one of the entire season. Laura Spencer returns as Emily, and you’re also going to get more of Penny’s gorilla co-star Wil Wheaton! The irony with his appearance is that he is actually doing pretty well in his career now with a new Syfy series, while his fictional career is seemingly down the tubes to take on a role in this movie.
Regardless of what happens at the end of this season, everything we have in this synopsis sounds like awesome served on a platter … at least for the Raj story, since Sheldon is the last person that you want advice for when it comes to anything. The Howard / Bernadette story actually sounds pretty sad, since you have to wonder whether or not Howard’s mom has that much time left in the world. It’s a dark story for this show if they are going in that direction, but it is a part of life.
What do you think about the idea of this episode, and what do you think the future for Leonard and Penny will be? Sound off below! Also, sign up now to get a bang of TV news via our CarterMatt Newsletter.

Sheldon’s world is being turned completely upside down. For the other characters, change is just a part of life, and possibly for the better. But for our lovable, neurotic Dr. Cooper, change is catastrophic. The title of this season’s finale is “The Status Quo Combustion,” which likely means that Season 8 will put the show and its characters in a totally different atmosphere. Hopefully, the change is good for all.

Sounds like as great season final episode. Can you say cliffhanger. For Sheldon and Stuart. Poor Amy. Change is coming indeed. But, I think Sheldon will also be a physicist. Can wait to see the finale and can not wait for season 8.
