‘True Blood’ season 7: Alexander Skarsgdard, Anna Camp, more absences in first promo
With “True Blood” or really television as a whole from time to time, the story is just as much about what you don’t see as it is what you do. This is where this new story all about the latest season 7 promo comes into play.
You can go back and watch the teaser again over at the link here, and we suggest that you do just from the standpoint of getting revved up for June 22. It’s really not that far away anymore! And while the promo does a good job of giving you a taste of the desolation and the sadness that Sookie Stackhouse and company are going to be facing, it doesn’t give you a glimpse at everyone important to the show.
Here are who we personally feel to be some of the major omissions right now, and most of them are for intentional reasons.
Eric Northman – Producers have tried to keep Alexander Skarsgard’s future on the show under wraps in a significant way, but we know that he’ll be back. This is someone that they may not give many answers on until the premiere.
Pam – Given that she is presumably with Eric, we feel the same way about her now.
Sarah Newlin – If this were a few months ago, we would’ve had no problem at all with Anna Camp not being mentioned or seen. Now that we know that we are meeting her family and some other important people to her, her absence is felt more.
A major villain – Instead, we have the vampire version of “The Walking Dead.” If this season ends up being about the feeling of loss and abandonment more so than the infected vampires, we could still end up being happy.

Eric and Pam are the only two who are noticeably missing. Sarah Newlin is not at all that significant to the show. And as for the new villian, after six seasons of ever changing villians, who cares!!!
And Eric and Pam are missing, because they are not going to be significant at all in the last season. And this is because Alexander Skarsgard’s contract was already over with season 6, but because of the retardly-conceived ending of Eric’s life, it turned out as if the whole show was a disappointment in such an important moment of its existence, so something needed to be done, and fast. So they must have persuaded the guy to make some short appearance for the sake of the show and in an attemot to come up with a “better ending” for his character.
Kristin Bauer’s character is for her bad luck just too closely related to Alexander’s character, so she loses either way.
Face it! People (meaning TV audience, not the human kind from the series) are not as stupid as this plan needs them to be!
