‘Bones’ season 9, episode 23 preview: ‘The Drama in the Queen,’ and a Sweets story
On Monday night’s new episode of “Bones,” we made it to the end of the Ghost Killer story seemingly, and the music that played in our head was the same as when the contestants on “The Price is Right” lose a game. Is that it? We really hope not, given that there was so much hype and drama surrounding this character.
Next week, the show doesn’t look to be dealing with the Ghost Killer again; instead, we have a potential new love interest for Sweets, and a story that gives him probably the most he’s had to do since early this season. The title is “The Drama in the Queen,” and you can see the synopsis below:
“The Jeffersonian team investigates the death of Brian Thomas, the head swim coach at a community college, whose remains were found dumped at the bottom of a well. When possible suspects tell Brennan and Sweets that Brian may have been having an affair, the team digs a little deeper only to find details of Brian’s secret life. Meanwhile, Sweets fills in for Booth in the investigation while Booth prepares to testify before a Congressional sub-committee and the Jeffersonian team gets a new intern (guest star Laura Spencer) who catches Sweets’ attention.”
The promo below features a very different take on the episode, mostly because it features Booth and Brennan at a drag show, and also a very funny line from David Boreanaz about how he prefers pants. It’s a simple moment, but one that you are probably still going to laugh at.
