‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3, episode 18 video: Robert Carlyle, Rebecca Mader, and trouble

With the way that Zelena speaks to Rumpelstiltskin in the new sneak peek from Sunday night’s “Once Upon a Time” episode “Bleeding Through,” you would almost expect her to turn into Ramsay Snow on “Game of Thrones” and start referring to him as Reek. While she hasn’t done anything that horrible to him yet as what we’ve seen from the HBO hit, the scary thing here is that she has the capacity to do that … and so much worse. That’s what happens when you have the dagger of the dark one.

The entire sneak peek below from this episode plays out almost like you are watching an old schoolyard taunting match. Zelena realizes that she has the power and the capacity to get Rumple to do whatever she wants, and she uses it with a look of delight on her face. Robert Carlyle and Rebecca Mader play these scenes well, and while we obviously will never root for the Wicked Witch, she is at least one of the most compelling villains the show has ever had. Let’s just hope that the motivation for her to be so wicked it a little more fleshed-out, since that hasn’t happened in full yet.

Eventually in this episode, there will be that kiss between these two characters that freaked out so much of the internet when it was first teased. While we think Rumple was either forced into it or it was a dream, there have been moments covering this show where we have been wrong before. Let’s just hope that this is not one of these said times.
