ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 20 video: A surprising get-up for Tamala Jones’ Lanie

The latest -Just in case you were not convinced already that Monday night’s “Castle” episode “That 70’s Show” was going to be glorious, here is some further evidence for you: Seeing the sort of comedy that Lanie has to go through just to keep the ruse at the center of the episode up.

In case you’ve been away from the “Castle” world the past couple of weeks, the basic premise of this story is that Rick and Kate have convinced everyone at the NYPD to dress in 1970s garb in order to ensure that their key witness in a case, who still believes that it is that era and time hasn’t moved forward, does not decide to bolt or tun uncooperative in the case.

Unfortunate for Tamala Jones’ character, she wasn’t given a whole lot of time to prepare, which led to her having to show up dressed in the only thing that she had that made sense: A Foxy Brown costume. This scene below starts off very funny, since it features Lanie basically putting this guy in his place after he tries to pull some of that 1970s misogyny on her. She’s clearly not interested in anything that this guy has to say.

As for the end of the video, there’s a little bit of drama there as it looks like someone has put a hit out on the witness to ensure that there is no way he causes a problem for anyone. Unfortunately for the hitman, Beckett puts the kibosh in his plans, and that is where things in this case get more interesting.
