‘Mad Men’ season 7, episode 1 podcast: A conversation piece with Jessa

Welcome to our first “Mad Men” podcast! This edition is going up a little bit later in the week than they usually will, but the goal here is the same: To talk about anything and everything that occurred on the past episode.

In looking at the premiere, there are many topics that Matt Carter and his co-host, fellow CarterMatt co-founder Jessa, go through. It starts with the discussion of the pitch at the start of the episode, and then progresses into the stories of Peggy and Joan, how we want so badly for there to be something more for Roger Sterling to do, and also whether or not Don Draper is ever going to learn anything about the person that he is. It’s a lively discussion stuffed full of critical thinking and theories.

For those of you who are spoiler-wary and are not caught up on TV, know that there are major spoilers on the “How I Met Your Mother” finale and minor spoilers on the end of “Breaking Bad.” We’d recommend checking out those shows first if you really care and are far behind on your viewing.
