‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10, episode 21 preview: Caterine Scorsone’s Amelia arrives!

The future -“Private Practice” may be gone, but Shonda Rhimes seemingly is doing just about everything that she can to make sure that she is not forgotten. On next week’s new “Grey’s Anatomy” episode, you are going to get the opportunity to see the return of Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) to Derek’s life in Seattle, and she will end up staying for at least two episodes.

This upcoming installment is entitled “Change of Heart,” which surely has more than one meaning based on what we saw tonight. Heck, it’s somewhat surprising that this show has not used this title before based on all the patients that have went through the doors of the hospital formerly known as Seattle Grace.

Take a look now at the full synopsis below, since it should give you at least a slightly-better idea of what is coming up next:

Jackson is given the daunting task of delivering disappointing news to the doctors. Meanwhile, Derek’s sister Amelia drops by for a surprise visit, Richard surprises Catherine in Boston and when Bailey gets frustrated by the slow pace of her research, she makes a risky decision.”

In watching the promo below for this episode, the biggest surprise to us is mostly how little there is here about the actual episode, and instead, it’s all about saying goodbye to Cristina. She still has a few episodes left! Are the producers going to just continue to advertise like this the rest of the season? That is going to be a hard thing for them to continue to hype, if that is the case.
