‘The Mentalist’ season 6 spoilers: The finale, Lisbon, Jane, and possibilities

The majority of “The Mentalist” fans at this point may be able to agree on one thing, and that is that they really want to see Jane and Lisbon finally together after such a long period of time waiting.

This brings us to the finale, which is entitled “Blue Bird,” and some of the first scoop that we have on it now. You may have heard already that the main decision Lisbon is facing here is whether or not to move to Washington in order to be with Agent Pike (Pedro Pascal) … and given the state of her feelings at the time the proposition comes up, it will be hard for her to turn it down.

However, E! News reports that Jane and Lisbon may still get a nice curveball thrown in their direction. A lead in an old case keeps her around Jane and the rest of the FBI longer than she originally intended to be, and that gives Simon Baker’s character a little bit more time to figure out just how he feels about her. From there, the question is simple: How in the world is he going to act on him? Since Red John killed his family, Jane has not exactly had the best luck in the world when it comes to dating. He’s got to figure out how to transfer that charm into an actual relationship … and plus, Lisbon has already seen all of his games. She’s not the easiest person for him to woo.
