‘Ink Master’ season 4, episode 9 preview: Scott Marshall and Halo target Sausage
Now that the air is pretty much cleared between Kyle Dunbar and Chris Nunez on “Ink Master” (and by “the air being cleared” we mean Kyle trying to fight Chris, a nasty exchange of words, and Kyle now being gone from the competition), we can shift the focus back to what is important: Great tattoos.
Next week the name of the game is going to be “detail” as the artists try their best to show the judges that they can get the most detail out of their tattoos using small fine lines, smooth shadowing and adding that extra something that makes them stand out from the rest.
Next week’s flash challenge will bring all of the contestants to the boxing ring, and while some of them might be hoping that they get to put on boxing gloves and give their opponents and actual beating (we are looking at you Scott), the real reason they are there is to create custom mouth grills for former World Boxing Association lightweight champion, Brandon Ríos.
On the last episode of “Ink Master” a clear line was drawn in the sand between Scott, Matti, Halo and Sausage as Scott and Halo tried everything in their power to sandbag Sausage with bad canvases, or making him work on the flash challenge alone when everyone else had a partner. What they didn’t expect was Sausage to not only do well, but to win last week’s elimination tattoo. Has this helped Sausage? Not really, because now the target on his back is even bigger then before and Scott is making it his mission to take him down. For the first time ever on this show there is a clear alliance of Scott, Halo and Matti in a final three deal, so it will be interesting to see if they can really pull this off and get their competition out.
